Punta Norte

The northwest corner of the island is the hub of "isla" life. The town center, popular hotels and restaurants, the ferry dock and Playa Norte, the island's most popular beach, are located here.

Punta Sur

At the island's southernmost tip, you'll find spectacular reefs and cliffs, Mayan ruins, and other attractions such as Garrafon National Park and a turtle farm. Punta Sur is also home to many species of colorful tropical fish, which makes it a longstanding favorite snorkeling area.
