Naples Trolley Tours

Discover the best of Naples with guides who share humorous stories and historical facts as you visit landmarks such as the Depot, magnificent estates, world-class shopping areas, beaches, waterways, and much more. You can hop-on/hop-off as often as you wish.

Everglades Day Safari

This exciting adventure through the different kingdoms that make up the 1.5 million-acre "River of Grass." It's the only ecosystem of its kind in the world, with massive mahogany and pines sharing the marsh with alligators, deer, bobcats, and hundreds of other species. A highly-trained guide teaches you about the Everglades as you head down the Blackwater River to the Ten Thousand Islands, or take an airboat with the Miccosukee Indians. Nature walks, hiking, canoeing, swamp buggy rides, and camping are further options.

Edison-Ford Winter Estates Tour

A fence called "The Friendship Gate" by both the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford families separates the two properties. The Edison riverfront estate is a sprawling 14-acres with the home and guesthouse, a museum, and Edison's laboratory, where hundreds of his inventions are on display. The 1920s home and garden of Henry Ford has also been restored. Displayed at the Ford estate are a Model T, Model A, and 1917 Ford Truck.

Diving and Snorkeling

Divers encounter loggerhead turtles, butterfly fish, mammoth jewfish, nurse sharks, and grouper around natural and artificial reefs. Sunken barges, dismantled bridges, construction equipment, and other items attract an abundance of marine life. In addition, natural limestone ledges provide a haven for plants and fish. Some of the more popular sites are Edison Reef, 240 Ledges, the shallows of Gasparilla Island, and the limestone ledges of Cayo Costa Island.

Golf

The courses in Southwest Florida are among the best in the world. The near-perfect year-round weather and huge variety of beautiful and challenging courses make it a golfer's dream. Tiger Woods, Mark O'Meara, and Greg Norman call Florida home, with more than 1,000 courses, many of them around Fort Myers!.

Shell Hunting

On Sanibel Island, this is called "Doing the Sanibel Stoop." You'll learn the move real quick when you start collecting some of the more than 160 different shell varieties that are found on these beaches. The best time to hunt for shells is at low tide or after a storm, but anytime you look you'll find something, which is why this is known as one of the best shell-collecting spots in the country!.

Fishing

Inshore fishing along the mangrove shorelines, bridges, piers, docks, and beaches is bountiful year-round. The natural and artificial reefs are filled with cobia, Spanish and king mackerel, shark, grouper, and black fin tuna. The waters of Boca Grande are known as the best grouper grounds with world-record fish caught there. Because it has one of the largest tarpon migrations anywhere in the world during spring, this is called the "Tarpon Fishing Capital of the World.".

Shopping

It's sensational! Miramar Outlets, between Naples and Fort Myers, feature more than 80 leading designers and brand name goods at factory direct prices. Nike, Etienne Aigner, Calvin Klein, and Ralph Lauren are just a few. Trendy restaurants and a musical water fountain add to your shopping fun. Waterfront shopping at Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda features a marina along with 7 restaurants, 37 specialty shops, sightseeing cruise boats, fishing charters, sailing school, and live entertainment!.
