St John's

The capital of Antigua is also the island's tourist center. This charming West Indian town slopes gently away from the downtown waterfront in a network of streets laid out three centuries ago. The landmark cathedral presides over a cluster of nostalgic, time-worn wooden buildings. Great shopping in Heritage Quay on the pier, the neighboring marketplace stalls, and the pretty streets of Redcliffe Quay bring armies of cruisers to the duty-free goods every day. Additionally, the serene bayside and many historic sights make this an interesting, activity-filled place to visit!.

Nelson's Dockyard National Park

This site exists thanks to The Society of the Friends of English Harbour, who lovingly restored Admiral Nelson's abandoned and decayed port into a scenic compound of crafts shops, hotels, and restaurants. The Dockyard is also the hub of the yachting set and is popular with people who are a part of, or simply enjoy, the nautical life.

Barbuda

This tiny coral atoll is two-thirds the size of its big sister, Antigua, but only 1,500 islanders make it their home, subsisting by fishing, farming, and hunting. The islet's appeal for visitors is instantly obvious when you land on its staggeringly gorgeous pink sand beaches and snorkel through the explosion of marine life in its warm azure waters. Even bird-lovers find their paradise in the frigate bird nesting grounds of Codrington Lagoon.
